Nerida Nicolson is a tattooer and artist based on Gubbi Gubbi Country in the Noosa Hinterland. Nerida began tattooing in 2012 and after exploring many styles has come to specialise in black and grey dotwork with focus on flora and fauna and ornamental tattooing. Being immersed in nature has provided endless inspiration for Nerida to channel into her tattooing and art.

After relocating from Sydney to the Sunshine Coast in 2018, Nerida set up her private studio with the aim of providing a calming space for clients to get tattooed in. Nerida believes the memory attached to the tattoo is just as important as the tattoo itself and an unintimidating environment can help facilitate a positive experience.

Looking toward the future, Nerida hopes to spend more time on her fine art practise, travel with her family and continue to refine her style within tattooing.
